The role of the Private Bar Attendant

Stock and replenish in-room private or mini-bar as well as in-suite pantries.  Stock and replenish private bar items, and compute and relay guest charges accurately to Front Office.  Keep an accurate par if food items such as beverages and snacks, as well as non-food items like menu cards, etc. on cart and in storage areas.  Clean and maintain in-room private/mini-bars; report damage, or malfunctioning units.  Check quality and expiration of all items; discard and replace according to established procedures.

Non-Essential Functions:

Assist with room service tray removal.

Assist with delivery of in-room amenities.

Assist with mini bar refill/resto

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Education:       High school education or equivalent experience.

Experience:     Minimum 6 months food service or related work.    

Skills and Abilities:     Ability to count and record accurately. Must be comfortable utilizing technology such as iPads.
