Four Seasons Hotel Boston is looking for a Boston based Travel Industry Sales Manager who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. A Travel Industry Sales Manager is an essential member of the Sales team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests in all aspects of their stay.

The Travel Industry Sales Manager handles the development and implementation of strategic plans to positively affect the leisure and business travel segment. 

Essential Functions 

  • Own the identification, solicitation and relationship responsibilities with individual travel producers including travel management accounts, retail travel agents, consortiums, and wholesalers. 

  • Aid in the integration of individual property efforts into the overall Four Seasons strategy, optimizing partnership programs, consortia relationships and cross selling opportunities 

  • Garner and organize relevant competitive information and prepare data for trend analysis, financial forecasting and prospecting using market intelligence tools and proprietary systems. 



  • Establish and implement Leisure and Travel Marketing action plans and target lists.  

  • Attain annual revenue goal for the leisure travel market sales program. 

  • Actively contact, solicit and nurture new potential Travel Accounts and Advisor relationships  

  • Coordinate special promotional events for key leisure advisors and HNW travel customers and their clients 

  • Make qualified sales trips and solicit new clients on behalf of Four Seasons Hotel Boston. 



  • Represent property and destination at appropriate travel industry tradeshows, conference and meetings. 

  • Participate on the hotel revenue management team. 

  • Interact with Public Relations/Marketing to ensure that innovative programs, offers and travel industry events that could provide positive public relations coverage for the Hotel are highlighted. 

  • Responsible for supporting FHR/Amex/Internova and FSHR Preferred Partner programs; updating portals, key messages and serving as program ambassador to the Hotel Operations team.  

  • Ensure that travel industry policies and wholesaler terms are known and adhered to by all Hotel and office staff. 



  • Maintain active liaison with competitors regionally and nationally through personal contacts and professional associations. 

  • When required, serve as primary service contact for arrival and stay for HNW and extended stay guests, providing single sales and service experience. 



Qualifications 

  • College Degree required 

  • Minimum of four (4) years of sales experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment, preferably selling the New England destination 



  • Ability to establish and master goals and to identify and develop accounts, working both collaboratively with sales team and independently to produce results 

  • Proven sales success and deep relationships in the North East luxury travel sector, New York experience required, EMEA experience (specifically Gulf Region) required 

  • Requires strong communication/presentation skills, both verbal and written with an ability to engage in virtual web settings as well as in person. 

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required 

  • Detail orientation including a keen understanding of anticipatory service when working with high expectation guests.  

  • Exceptional English communication required, multilingual candidates with Arabic are preferred 



  • Strong personal presence and confidence to represent the world’s leading luxury hotel brand 

  • Ability to effectively and efficiently manage self and others to prepare complex and time sensitive stays for a discerning clientele 

  • Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently 

  • Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft 365 Office Suite, Salesforce 

  • Math skills, as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required 

  • Ability to work independently

  • Based in Boston
