The Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC) offers owned, managed, and franchise hotels world-class revenue management talent and tools. The team is responsible for helping hotels consistently grow market share and outperform our competitors.

What will I be doing?
Are you a commercial leader with a passion for delivering results? Do you love developing relationships and leading a team? Then this is the role for you! The Director of the Focused Service & Suites portfolio will supervise a team of nearly 70 revenue professionals responsible for the performance of over 700 properties across the US and Canada. You will lead all aspects of the performance and development of the Assistant Directors, Revenue Managers, and Revenue Specialists, providing critical root cause analysis and corrective action on asset performance, presenting RMCC strategies to key internal and external partners while coordinating additional RMCC projects as needed. You will actively assess performance for hotels and serve as a key liaison to many of the RMCC's strategic partners, including other internal Commercial Support teams, Brand Performance Management teams, Owner Relations teams, as well as external management and ownership groups. You will collaborate cross-functionally with the broader RMCC Senior Leadership team to ensure the commercial success of participating hotels while driving a best-in-class culture. In addition, you will direct the assignment of project tasks, ensuring optimal allocation of resources while supporting the growth of the business! 

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop short- and long-term goals for the hotels and the broader workgroup, supporting the RMCC’s operational plan and ensuring appropriate talent is identified and developed to achieve strategic goals and performance.
  • Influence the workgroup to accomplish the organization’s mission, goals, and objectives through motivation, communication, innovation, partnership, and leadership
  • Ensure accurate execution of the guidance and strategic oversight from senior leadership in RMCC and across the Focused & Suites estate.
  • Supply critical analysis on company-wide decisions affecting pricing, occupancy, revenue goals, and product line sales strategies

What are we looking for?

  • Taking the initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for the team to fulfill responsibilities
  • Direct collaborative efforts of direct reports and act in an objective manner to solve problems
  • Experience successfully analyzing and explaining statistical data to develop strategies and generate a course of action
  • Ability to manage time and drive the skill across team members, as well as organizational skills

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of analytical experience within the Revenue Management, Data Management, Reservations, or Front Office Operations field
  • Three (3) years working in Revenue Management
  • Two (2) years in a supervisory role
  • In-depth knowledge of industry analytical reports such as STAR reports, Hotelligence reports, and competitive shop reports
  • Proficient in Revenue Management systems, hotel property management systems, and industry-related reports

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • MA/MS Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics
  • Cross-functional experience in hotel Revenue Management and Regional Revenue Management oversight
  • Multiple brands and hotel experience
