Réceptionniste

Hi,
We are looking to fill a position as receptionist at Hotel Pointe Isabelle.
We operate 72 rooms in different categories and we are located in the center of Chamonix.
You would start end of November or beginning or December 2023 at Pointe Isabelle and stay with us for winter and spring.

Receptionist at Pointe Isabelle has a central position and important role for our success. You need to be interested in outdoor life, winter sports and understand the needs of winter clients. Our clients are international and coming from many different countries, actually very similar to our staff. As a team member you need to have some experience of working in an international environment . Working hours are from 07.00 to 15.00 or 15.00-23.00, 5 days per week, making approximately 39 hours per week and 169 hours per month. During busy periods we also have a split shift every once in a while.

We will provide you with full training before you start.

In short the work includes taking care of smooth operations with our hotel clients, during check-ins and check-outs. Giving customer service, that is more than expected, and making our clients feel welcome and comfortable during the whole stay.

Motivated and thorough, attentive to details with passion for customer service.
You need to be a team worker and flexible, but at the same time find solutions independently
Language skills are important as our clients come all over the world.
You need to have good English and French skills, in written and spoken. All other language skills are of course of value.
Previous competence from similar reception work is required. We use VEGA hotel system and D-edge channel management system.
It is preferable, but not necessary, that you know about Chamonix valley and its activities from before.
