The EMEA Buying Analyst acts as a key role in the entire EMEA Buying team performing cross-categories analyses needed for the definition of Buying activities, Weekly sales reports, hindsights documents in preparation for buying, for retail presentations and for buying follow-ups.

Defines KPIs and targets at category and store level aligned with the financial targets. Analyses and supports during the creation of the regional OTB. Has a comprehensive understanding of all LP categories, sales trends and market specific dynamics across EMEA region.

Responsibilities

  • Create, drive and follow up relevant analyses for all categories (RTW Mens Women & Kids, Accessories, Shoes) at regional level related to sell-in / sell-out, sell-through, product best performers, slow movers, growth, trends, commercial focuses (weekly & monthly)
  • Initiate ad hoc analysis to find market opportunities and give recommendations to EMEA Buying Team on actions to take to optimize product offering
  • Support EMEA Buying team during Buying campaigns and collection presentations with pre-buy and post-buy strategic presentations
  • Develop specific analysis about stores’ sales performance, sell-in sell-out, and sell-through to support in finding actions to increase sales
  • Establish the regional OTB for the buying campaigns and follow up throughout the season


Collaborate with Regional Finance Team to ensure having aligned topline targets across the countries when setting buying targets and also during the season 

Information additionnelle

Skills & abilities required

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering, or in related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as Business Analyst for luxury consultancy firms, Retail Planning or Sales Analyst
  • Strong ability and competence in quantitative and qualitative analysis on sales performance and product report/feedback
  • Excellent in ppt presentations
  • Proactive, dynamic, strong relational skills and attitude in team working
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular PowerPoint and Excel); BO, BI, ProJ, and SAP experience preferred
