Overview of Position
The Banquet Chef is responsible for, but not limited to, the overall Banquet Kitchen. The Banquet Chef is the leader of the Banquet culinary department with a 5 Star, 5 Diamond environment and cuisine. The Banquet Chef must check and monitor that all of the set culinary standards and recipes are maintained.
The Banquet Chef reports directly to the Executive Sous Chef. The positions of Banquet Sous Chef and Banquet Cooks report into the Banquet Chef.
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience in the similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.
• Have excellent communication and organization skills.
• Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation.
• Able to work together with other colleagues.
• Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming.
• Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
• Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
