JOB DETAILS

ROOMS DIVISION - RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet guests
Use of POS system
Take reservations and review the daily reservation and rates the accuracy
Manage room inventory in order to achieve optimal occupancy and revenue
Check-in arriving guests and check out the departing guests according to company standards
Register guests upon arrival and assign rooms
Assist guests in completing registration cards
Answer all incoming calls
Communication with all departments to fulfill guest requests
Handle complaints and fulfill special guest requests
Be aware of the surroundings of the property to be able to give directions and recommendations
Receive, note and deliver messages to guests and employees alike
Arrange and maintain the cleanliness of the reception area
Perform room checks before the check-in procedure and liaise with housekeeping regarding room requirements
Participate in departmental meetings
Compose invoices and settle payments
Cooperate with, and report directly to the Front Office Manager to improve the department

F&B SERVICE - RESPONSIBILITIES
Hold pre-and after-service meetings
Train employees in communication, customer service and product knowledge
Coordinate the staff and mediate between the front- and back of the house
Supervise daily operations
Create, adjust and implement policies to improve the overall operations and performance
Prepare and perform staff appraisal interviews
Participate in the monitoring of cost control and waste management
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Manage and distribute inventory in terms of goods and facilities
Handle customer complaints and special requests
Create ways to exceed customer expectations
Monitors and improves customer satisfaction
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenue and expenses
Design ways to promote the restaurant and reach potential future guests

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
12 months of related work and/or internship experience
22 years old and above
Enrolled students (Senior year for Bachelor’s degree, Postgraduate degree, Master’s degree)
Recent graduates (within last 36 months)
Major of study must be relevant to the internship position
School, college or university endorsement
Fluent English
Clean criminal record
No drug abuse
