About the Role:

As General Manager “GM” of one or several locations(s), you will have a leading role in the management of the location(s) and its performance you have been assigned to.

The GM must meticulously execute and be responsible for delivering the Industrious locations goals with regard to revenue growth by managing the sales, expansions, and renewals of the location, and the various products /services Industrious offers. As General Manager for the Industrious location(s) you spend approximately 90% of your time on revenue-related tasks regarding New Sales, Expansions & Renewals of agreements for the various products of Industrious.

In each location, you will manage a team with an Operations Manager and his/her Host(s). The Operations Manager is the line manager of the Host(s) and responsible for the operations in the location. All of this ensures we have a highly engaged team to deliver an amazing experience to your clients.

Together with your team you organize a monthly event for the guests and invite occasionally your strategic, relations.

You report to the Area Director Industrious.


As a priority, you focus on sales in a business-to-business environment and ensure your revenues and occupancies throughout your location(s) by:
Implementing and managing active Broker relations with a common goal: closing deals,
Defining and implementing a lead strategy using different sources,
Being an expert in managing your sales pipeline and a reference in time management,
Maximizing sales performance by evaluating the effects of each activity, assessing the market's response, and modifying the plan as necessary,
Managing and engaging efficiently with a wide range of roles and legal matters involved in the decision-making process,
Being an excellent communicator whether in person, over the phone, involving email to interact with clients,
Devising creative ways to drive sales to maximize performance,
Acting goal-oriented and resilient setting high expectations for yourself and your team,
Renewing the existing guests upon renewal time and minimizing churn by developing and implementing an ongoing sales relationship from day one of their move-in.

Managing and supporting the Operations Manager,
Identifying and conveying personal and group goals in line with Industrious' business and operational strategy,
Assuring the team's daily management and motivation,
Establishing and upholding a corporate culture, organizing the teams around a site-wide initiative, acknowledging their abilities, and keeping the finest personnel,
Managing Cost control with the Operations Manager and the direct Line manager,
Achieving operations Excellence and required NPS (customer satisfaction) goals,
Ensuring operational excellence, with your Operations Manager, in your location(s) in a lean manner which drives to a NPS score of >70 in Industrious Europe and a best-in-market churn level.

You have a college degree or a diploma from a business school (Bac+5), as well as at least ten years of experience in a comparable role, particularly in the office real estate or flex office industry.
You are passionate, enthusiastic, energetic, have a sense of humor, and the ability to convey this in person, as well as through phone, video, and email communications,
You have a clear and timely view of the broader results vs targets and know where to act to right-size the location performance or improve results where needed to achieve the budgeted targets.
You enjoy (Re-) Negotiating and executing complex deals or improvement tracks for potential customers and existing members.
You appreciate being a part of a team that is rapidly expanding and where human values are crucial.
You are colleague/customer/partner focused, and able to create creative win-win scenarios.
You are proactive and a hands-on individual who takes ownership and responsibility in completing tasks.
You have the right skills to manage and motivate a team.
You possess an entrepreneurial spirit that enables you to balance a strategic goal with the demands of ongoing operations.
You Have a strong work ethic, used to working in a demanding environment and outperforming your peers.
You combine knowledge of the market, marketing/communication, and image levers and tools with interpersonal skills (analysis, creativity, curiosity, organization, proactivity, rigor).
You are really interested in using operational technologies like CRM.
Your verbal and written communication is flawless, and you are an expert with pack office equipment.
You work at pace and can cope with ambiguity and change.
