Role Description:

As the Restaurant Manager, your primary responsibility will be to supervise and control all food and beverage operations, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources and delivering exceptional results. You will be at the forefront of providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction while managing the restaurant's daily operations and acting as the public face and ambassador of Café Camaleón.

Key Responsibilities:

- Organize and lead the restaurant team to enhance profitability and productivity.
- Drive sales initiatives to maximize restaurant revenue.
- Manage inventory by placing orders and overseeing their quality and quantity upon arrival.
- Assign and supervise the preparation of food and beverages for service.
- Ensure a warm welcome and fond farewell for all guests.
- Assist guests in making menu selections, providing information about dishes, and ensuring their needs are met.
- Maintain quality control by overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes.
- Supervise the setup of buffet service when applicable.
- Ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
- Create and manage staff schedules, including work and holiday shifts.
- Monitor and control the use of equipment and materials.
- Oversee inventory management and conduct regular stocktaking.
- Communicate departmental information and provide approvals as necessary.
- Maintain a daily diary and submit it for review and approval by the Chef.
- Provide continuous training and development opportunities for your team.
- Report directly to the Hotel Director on restaurant performance and operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the brand team to support the creation and posting of engaging content on social media.

Requirements:

- Language proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Proven experience in restaurant management, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to organize and execute local events and activations.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
