At Disneyland Paris, the Operating Participants department’s role is to manage the portfolio of its third-party partners and to develop and introduce new partners, this, in line with our development and transformation strategy.
Under the responsibility of the Senior Manager Operating Participants - in collaboration with the Product, Operation and Creative teams - you contribute to implementing the resorts’ strategy for enriching and diversifying the experience and products offered to our Guests,
In line with Company needs, you manage developing and implementing new projects (shops, restaurants, entertainment, experiences), from the prospecting phase to the delivery/ on-site development, contributing to the growth and success of our destination.


Responsibilities :
Business Development – Third Party Tenant strategy development, Tenant Identification, and Lease Negotiation
  • Prospection, pitch on the destination and strategy, third parties/operating participants selection
  • In coordination with internal and external partners, definition and management of timeline and the key steps
  • Leasing/rent negotiations and the contractual terms
  • Collaboration in the drafting of legal acts and organizing contract signing: non-disclosure agreement (NDA), letter of intent (LOI), multiple contract types, extensions…
  • Management and deployment of the project in partnership with internal partners
  • Contribution to the preparation of presentations and case studies for internal and external populations
  • Monitor upcoming lease expirations and make recommendations on renewing potential

Account Management – Consult/Advise operations, Existing Lease Management, Strategic Tenant Assessment, Lease Renegotiation
  • Serve as a resource/consultant and a liaison between Operating Participant (OP) and Disneyland Paris, consistently monitoring the relationship and activity
  • Management of needs/requests related to the contractual agreement
  • Close partnership with internal resources (Operations, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Walt Disney Imagineering, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance by OP of all contractual requirements, monitor any lease obligations that will impact Disneyland Paris in the future
  • Ensure timeline of assigned business results, opportunities, challenges and concerns are known and that returns are robust.
  • Apply financial analysis in evaluating OP performance and requests, leveraging existing resources and partners all the while improving personal proficiency
  • Make decisions and recommendations keeping the broader strategic goals (both financial and qualitative) into consideration
  • Nurture business relationships at corporate executive and local levels

Project Management – OP project management: drive and oversee coordination from design phase to implementation
  • Define project scope, timeline, deliverables and governance for each project – onboarding of internal and external partners
  • Ensure ownership for project completion; both on an individual basis and with cross-functional teams
  • Anticipate the means and ways for the project to be a success; foresee obstacles and challenges
  • Ensure leadership is aware of and understands key developments or pending issues
  • Work through complexity to ensure effective and appropriate action (continue on current path or change direction)


Basic Qualifications :
  • You ideally have a 3-year degree specializing in real estate (e.g. promotion, investment, corporate law / real estate)
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as Project Manager (ideally in commercial real estate) in charge of developing and coordinating complex projects.
  • You are curious, ask questions, seek to understand and offer creative feedback and solutions.
  • You demonstrate an ability to work in collaborative and cross-functional mode and manage multiple subjects and environments, projects and people, adapting and having situational intelligence taking into account organizational realities and issues.
  • Your sense of organization and your rigor allow you to manage many projects and priorities simultaneously and independently, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and you show flexibility and strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Your sense of communication and your interpersonal skills allow you to negotiate, influence and convince, developing and maintaining effective business relationships, including dealing with executive level partners (internally and externally).
  • Strong knowledge of retail and food & beverage developments/operations; operational experience appreciated
  • Proven capability to manage and drive strategic problem solving and the development of practical business solutions
  • Solid financial acumen: ability to anticipate business trends and working knowledge of financial statements
  • English and French fluent level C1 (read, written, spoken)
  • Concise written and oral communication, ability to create structured, visual PowerPoint presentations
  • Pack Office
