 Using your previous experience in Hotel Technology you will provide the conduit between the corporate office and the hotels to ensure all solutions are optimized and configured within Dorchester collection standards whilst taking into consideration other related and connected systems. You will actively engage in project work associated with Dorchester Collection core central systems as well as maintain, support and improve said systems on an ongoing basis.

  • Actively engage in project management/coordination in regard to key strategic application based change initiatives when appropriate.
  • Work with 3rd party’s and internal business stake holders to develop test scripts to quality assure functionality is delivered as required
  • Where appropriate and directed define RFP’s,  initial projects scoping and functionality definition associated with new and existing Hotel Applications to align with overall business strategy
  • Maintain/Support existing multi-property environment of Opera PMS, SImphony, Synxis Dynamics CRM , and other associated global systems .
  • Provide helpdesk escalation of hotel application issues including acting as first line reviewer/assessor of change requests and noting viability and impact before then seeking final approval
  • Periodic proactive maintenance of key global applications
  • Act as the liaison between the Hotels and the IT organization in regards to Global business applications.
  • To maintain and develop appropriate DC Global applications security standards and associated processes
  • Manage key Global applications  version upgrades – functionality testing, implementation, introduce new functionalities, advise on functionality changes
  • Raise and escalate P1 Hotel Application issues for the group and co-ordinate/update with key hotel stakeholders.
  • Implementation of new systems when allocated
  • Development of SOP for system functionalities and Guides for DC in conjunction with other key business stake holders
  • Langue requise: Inglés.
