Four Seasons Resort Whistler is located at the foot of Blackcomb and Whistler. The resort is a five-minute walk to the ski lifts and a 10-minute stroll to the village center, making it the perfect location for a rustic adventure any time of year.

Our guest rooms are spacious, beautifully re-styled in December, 2019, the refurbished rooms and suites pay close attention to the unique placement of Whistler – a secluded retreat, just an hour and a half away from the international destination of Vancouver.

In December 2020, we completed a property-wide enhancement with the launch of Braidwood Tavern, a craft kitchen and social house conceived in collaboration with celebrated chef and restauranteur Richard Sandoval, along with a re-imagined SIDECUT Steakhouse, both designed by Box Interior Design.

Your job:

The Assistant Director of Rooms will manage the staff and control the activities across the Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Ski Concierge.   They will prepare and conduct performance evaluations in accordance with hotel policy and keep management informed on all progress of Rooms Division employees. They are responsible for ensuring that qualified personnel are hired and trained, and that all departmental personnel are well informed of the practice of the objectives and policies.

The Assistant Director of Rooms will drive the Quality Assurance Program as well for the above mentioned departments towards the goals of the Division and Resort, while enforcing and reinforcing standards compliance.

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, the TAM will be flexible in working weekends and holidays.

About You:

Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experiences are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Rooms Division, the Assistant Director of Rooms, works across the Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Ski Concierge departments to deliver an exceptional experience and leadership excellence.

A Hospitality or Business Degree is preferred

A minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience within the Rooms Division, ideally in a luxury hotel environment.

Strong command of the English language

Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service.

Successful candidates must possess the ability to work in Canada

Ability to work in Canada and be able to travel internationally, as needed, for in person job fairs.
