The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is looking for a Overnight Front Desk Agent who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. 

The Front Desk Agent – Night Audit reports to the Front Office Manager. We are looking for an energetic, hospitality professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and has a passion for service and people. Applicant will be a willing team player, self-motivating, detail orientated and comfortable with computer systems including Opera, Microsoft Office and HOTSOS. Applicant will be willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work and have an ability to prioritize their own work.

Four Seasons Resort Whistler is located at the foot of Blackcomb and Whistler. The resort is a five-minute walk to the ski lifts and a 10-minute stroll to the village center, making it the perfect location for a rustic adventure any time of year. 

Our guest rooms are spacious, beautifully re-styled in December, 2019, the refurbished rooms and suites pay close attention to the unique placement of Whistler – a secluded retreat, just an hour and a half away from the international destination of Vancouver. 

In December 2020, we completed a property-wide enhancement with the launch of Braidwood Tavern, a craft kitchen and social house conceived in collaboration with celebrated chef and restauranteur Richard Sandoval, along with a re-imagined SIDECUT Steakhouse, both designed by Box Interior Design. 

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Previous hotel experience required 

  • Knowledge of or experience with hotel computer systems and programs. 

  • College/University degree 

  • Fluent English (written, spoken and reading) 

  • Strong crisis management skills 



  • Strong commitment to service

As a Front Desk Agent – Night Audit at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, you would be responsible for checking guests in and out, settling guest bills, maintaining a balanced float and reconciling all transactions at the close of a shift, and providing the highest level of hospitality to assist guests during their stay. This role will work closely with the Overnight Manager and Night Team to ensure all operations on the Overnight Shift are handled with personalized attention and care. This position will be responsible for covering areas in Front Office, Guest Services, and Concierge, and is an excellent and well-rounded learning opportunity for Hotel Operations. 

In this role, you will:  

  • Check in guests in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assure that guests are assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arrange for luggage to be delivered to guest rooms. Issue correct keys to the guest. 

  • Check out guests at end of stay. Ascertain guest satisfaction, collect keys, post late charges and present bills to guests. Settle bills accurately through credit card or cash transaction. 

  • Maintain a balanced bank assigned by the hotel.  Make changes, cash checks, and exchange foreign currency. Reconcile all transactions at the close of each shift.  

  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guests will be in person and by phone. 



  • Utilize a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and block rooms for arriving guests. 

  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in The Employee Handbook. 

  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. 

  • Accept reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff.  Can answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Communications Operator. 



About You: 

  • Previous significant experience in a related position 

  • Supervisor experience preferred. 

  • Hotel computer systems and adding machine knowledge. 

  • College degree 



  • Fluent English (written, spoken and reading) 

  • Strong crisis management skills 

  • Strong commitment to service 



Category 5 Driving License (Unrestricted Category 4 is an advantage)
