The Opportunity:

This role reports to the Director of Sales and Senior Director of Marketing and is responsible for promoting and securing individual leisure travel business on behalf of two distinctive South Florida luxury hotel properties.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, driven individual who possesses strong communication and selling skills.  Travel Industry Sales Manager is responsible for business generation as it relates to prospecting and securing individual travel industry accounts on behalf of the hotels in accordance with the goals and strategies outlined in the annual Marketing Plans and in concert with WSO effort.  TISM’s are accountable for ensuring quotas and goals are met and to ensure that direct sales activities are focused on generating the highest possible RevPAR for the overall success of the hotels.  This position requires a high degree of independent judgement and discretion on decision making and managing confidential information for both properties.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills 

Education and Experience

  • College Degree Graduate preferred
  • Experience: Luxury Hotel Sales required (minimum of 3 years) or 3 – 5 or operational hotel experience Proven sales track record a plus
  • Travel – Varies but approximately 10%
