The role of the Sous Chef is to successfully manage the restaurant operation and team that work in the department on a daily basis. A strong focus on maintaining quality and training the team of cooks while reaching budgets and retaining team members who need to work to agreed service levels.

À propos de vous

Ideal Sous Chef candidate should have:
- Minimum 3 years of kitchen management experience
- A culinary degree from a vocational training school or institute
- Ability to manage a kitchen team while simultaneously overseeing food quality, managing a service, and working closely with dining room managers to ensure guest experience.
- Prior experience in high end hotels/restaurant kitchens, as well as high volume establishments.
- Ability to multitask and work well with all members of the team, providing instruction when necessary, and the ability to collaborate with other team members to find solutions for any problems that arise.
- Knowledge in different cooking techniques and have the ability to work all stations in the kitchen.
Experience in menu development, food costing, scheduling and managing labour cost.

Skilled worker visa may be offered to the selected candidate who does not have the right to work in the UK.
