The Opportunity...

1 Hotel Central Park  is in search of an inspiring Executive Chef, a first-class culinarian who is a proven, impactful and natural leader. Delectable cuisine stems from his or her culinary innovation, imagination and deep knowledge of nature's most valuable ingredients.  Our Executive Chef will maximize the talent and realize the potential of every team member. The result? Unique, delicious, unforgettable dishes that leave every guest wanting to know the mastermind behind each creation. 

About you...
  • Passionate culinary leader with 7+ years of progressive work experience, with a min. of 4 years experience in an Exec. Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef capacity
  • Prior experience working in an upper upscale and/or luxury environment.
  • Experience managing a high-volume, scratch kitchen, generating a min. of $7M in gross revenue preferred
  • Strong understanding of Farm-to-Table cuisine preferred
  • A true passion for sustainability
  • An expert in culinary operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. 
  • Excels at communication, both verbal and written. 
  • Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
