Pulitzer Hotels is looking for hospitality students to complete an internship in Sales Department. The chosen candidate will enjoy a great opportunity to work in one of the most vibrant design hotels in Barcelona.

Main responsibilities:

We are looking for a competent Sales Trainee to assist the Sales Manager to oversee and organize groups that will make an impact to a target audience. You’ll ensure groups and events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. A Sales Groups trainee is, above all, a project coordinator who understands marketing and promotions techniques. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.

Operational duties:
o Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue.
o Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the team.
o Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach.
o Build strong relationships with customers, travel agencies & corporate accounts to fully understand their needs
o Come up with suggestions to enhance the sales processes success.
o Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Service Standards:
o Well-organized with multi-tasking skills, excellent organizational and administration skills.
o Thank all guests with genuine appreciation.
o Anticipate and address all guests’ requirements.
o Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
o Provide special attention to VIP or long stay customers.
o Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.
o Become an inhouse hotel ambassador of all services and outlets of the hotel.

À propos de vous

o Students or graduates related to Tourism / Hospitality Management from around the world.
o EU visa and university agreement are mandatory
o Friendly and guest-oriented.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Good knowledge of Spanish and English languages. Other languages are considered a plus.
o Being a genuine ambassador with a "Yes, of course!" attitude.
o Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
o Languages required: English and Spanish.
