Floris Drabbe CEO

Floris Drabbe is a passionate, multi-lingual leader who strives to provide young hospitality students with life-changing exchange programs abroad. He has first-hand experience of how going abroad can have a huge impact on someone's life. When he was 16, he ventured to sunny California as an exchange student. His adventure opened up his eyes to the world of hospitality and inspired him to give other young people the same amazing opportunity.

Floris explains that HRC is a fantastic place to be as a professional. The company is made up of driven individuals who provide personalized service to each candidate. When Floris evaluates potential candidates, he doesn’t necessarily focus on their skills, instead, he looks at the attitude they can adopt when facing new challenges and their ability to learn from those around them.

Floris believes that it’s simple to send someone overseas, but to make that person comfortable in their new home and to fully support them throughout their entire program is a challenge in itself. At HRC, they’ve been facing and overcoming these challenges thanks to their “individual approach”. For Floris, it’s this unique method, combined with 22 years of industry expertise, that has allowed HRC to help over 6000 people develop their hospitality skills and knowledge in the USA.
