This boutique hideaway boasts the perfect position near Volterra and San Gimignano, between Siena and Florence. The ethos of this elegant retreat is a commitment to slow food, slow living and sustainable organic agriculture.
Borgo Pignano, a 750 acre private estate hidden away in the hills and valleys of Tuscany, is looking for season 2021 a proactive SOUS CHEF
The ideal candidates is
-Full focused to food production including all items produced for restaurants, banqueting and/or other outlets
-Ensures that high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety are maintained
his/her kitchen area at all times
-Makes sure that preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality

Su di te

The ideal candidates will possess the following key skills:
- At least 2 years in the same position in the Hotels 5 stars or Michelin
Restaurants
- Good team management
- Eye for details
- Passion for service
- Creative and enthusiast
- Passionate about food and happy to embrace organic product philosophy
- Pro-active approach in problems solving
- Respect for nature and for value that the heart represents
- Excellent knowledge of English and, preferably, of a second foreign
language

Our dining:
Villa Pignano is our Green Michelin Star restauran where fondness for fresh ingredients and a contemporary interpretation of familiar Italian dishes is apparent with every dish.
In the summer the Al Fresco outdoor restaurant offers an informal setting with a full menu including pizzas from a wood-burning oven.
The communal table near the cheerful fireplace in the original kitchen is a spot where guests enjoy can meet at dinner.

Our experiences:
