Description of the Host Property:

Located in scenic Charlotte, North Carolina, you can maintain your workout routine at our 24-hour fitness center or unwind at Cordial, our rooftop bar. Purposefully created to allow busy travelers to relax, focus & connect with others, our new hotel in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, North Carolina is six miles from Charlotte’s city center and 11 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Description of the Training:
Gain invaluable skills and knowledge in the Food and Beverage department of a world-leading luxury hotel/resort through a J-1 program at the AC Hotels. During your program, you will receive training and mentorship from industry leaders in the F&B field as you rotate through different outlets on the property.
This rotational program is designed to give you exposure to the international hospitality industry and give you the experience to excel in your career when you return to your home country.

Description of the Location:
A charming yet sprawling Southern city, Charlotte is a pleasant urban area nestled in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, within a few hours’ drive of both the Appalachian Mountains and North Carolina’s white sand beaches. Shop-till-you-drop types will love SouthPark mall, the city’s upscale destination with more than 150 retailers and restaurants. An amusement park on the city’s outskirts, Carowinds, boasts a water park as well as attractions like Fury 325, North America’s longest steel roller coaster.

• Or recent graduate (less than 12 months ago) of a Hospitality or Tourism post-secondary academic institution.
• Or a graduate of a Hospitality or Tourism post-secondary academic institution (more than 12 months ago,) with 12 months of verifiable related work experience.
• Or must have 5 years of verifiable related work experience.
