SALES COODINATOR:

Reporting to Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

 

What you will be doing:

  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly assistance to internal colleagues, clients and media VIP’s mostly conducted via phone and email.
  • Is empowered to respond to inquiries from customers in the absence of Sales Manager with their guidance and support.
  • Ensures prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers.
  • Maintains positive relationships with all guests, clients, colleagues and global sales network via all forms of communication.
  • Has a complete knowledge of hotel's services and facilities.
  • Assists Sales Managers with site visits, contract preparation and client communication.
  • Assists with responding to CVB leads and management of lead log (incoming leads).
  • Maintains current sales kit literature.
  • Coordinates distribution of pertinent information to all pertinent departments within hotel.
  • Monitors daily lead log, build in Opera, assign and distribute leads to group, catering and travel industry Sales Managers promptly.
  • Provides clerical duties as required (i.e. typing, filing, etc. to Sales Manager).
  • Attends daily “stand up” meeting and monthly sales meeting.
  • Coordinate amenity distribution and VIP gifts.
  • Assist with special events as requested by DOS and DOSM.
  • Other administrative tasks may be added to the existing job description.
  • Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills should include:

•             Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and/or relevant computer applications required

•             Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required

•             Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

•             Highly responsible & reliable

•             Ability to focus attention on guest/sales manager needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
