Events Intern
Cosa comprende il lavoro
- Help the sales team to quote all inquires received and send to the clients or agents.
- Register all events in Opera.
- Revise and coordinate the availability of rooms for the sales team to offer site inspections.
- Follow-up on sent proposals as requested by the Director of Events.
- Assist in the tracking of the confirmed events, lost business or declined.
- Assist in sourcing suppliers for events.
- Create and distribute BEOs to all departments.
- Weekly Events Meeting attendance with operational departments.
- Assist the Sales & F&B teams in the set-up of meeting rooms, menu placing, seating and client welcoming.
- Prepare menus and banquet sitting.
- Assist with daily tasks of the Sales team such as support in preparing reports or updating databases.
- All other tasks that may be required by the Director of Events to ensure the operational success of the event.

Su di te
- Fluent in English and Spanish. Catalan and other languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, and written).
- Service orientation and passion for the industry.
- Ability to work in a team and keep calm while working under pressure.
- Lingue richieste: Spagnolo e Inglese. Catalano è un plus
