In the role of Event & Sales Manager with Bagatelle London, the incumbent will build strong relationships, manage new business development and develop new leads. This position is also responsible for promoting Bagatelle's French "joie de vivre and epicurean spirit" philosophy while taking part in delivering memorable and flawless high-class guest experiences.

Duties & responsibilities :
- Identify potential new clients and build on those relationships.
- Establish and maintain connections with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
- Prepare regular sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed distribution expansion.
- Alongside the corporate team, develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives.
- Create leads and leverage the different aspects of the business in efforts to nurture prospect deals.
- In-person and over-the-phone prospecting is a must.
- Generate a list of prospective clients and manage the entire sales cycle from the initial call to close.
- Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape and ability to determine how to best position our brand.
- Maintain all corporate mandates, procedures, and promote company culture at various events.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications & primary job requirements:

- 3+ years’ experience in a events & sales space and in a client focused, professional role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and to convey information to all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in interactions with premium clientele.
- Excellent active listening skills, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and general business acumen.
- Excellent time management and quick decision-making skills.
- Excellent follow up, interpersonal and organizational skills
- A proven track record of closing deals.
- Takes initiative in owning their book of business.
- Self-motivated, creative, and flexible with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Experience with canvassing and cold-calling with evidence of success preferred.
- Ability to negotiate and sell to every decision-making level.
- Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, and food service industry.
- Multilingual is preferred.
