Paid Traineeship in Culinary!

In this position you will work and learn from some of the best chefs in the City. Your job is to work as part of the team in the kitchen, producing high-quality menu items under the direction of the Chef.

You will prep, cook and season all food and become familiar with all phases of food preparation techniques.Developing skills in garde manger, broiler, saucier, proper cooking methods, cooking times and temperatures, and large quantity cooking.

You will also learn about food budgeting and how to optimize food costs, maintain recipe standards, kitchen pantry and stock levels management, quality, safety, and sanitation practices.

This opportunity will require a J-1 visa which has specific eligibility requirements.
To qualify as an Intern you must be EITHER (1) currently enrolled in university studying in the career field of the internship OR (2) have graduated with a degree in the internship career field within the last 12 months.
To qualify as a Trainee you must be EITHER (1) graduated with a degree in the traineeship career field and have one year of related experience outside of the U.S., OR (2) without a degree, have 5 or more years of experience in the field.
