Sales Account Manager

Cosa comprende il lavoro

• Prospect, materialize and grow business accounts as assigned and not limited to finding and converting new business for the hotel (in form of Group & Events leads, transients ‘reservations agreements, proactively manage MICE, Corporation, government and/or SMERF accounts).
• Support development of e-commerce team efforts, with focus on MICE, Corporations and Associations and other segments that are moving towards online booking tools and instant booking platforms.
• Support Sales Leader in delivering the budgeted projected revenues and in implementation of commercial strategic plans for the assigned accounts / industries.
• Perform regular cold calling, prospection via social media, networking and business intelligence data to prospect and understand business needs of target segments.
• Negotiating the terms of agreements and closing sales. Send offers, explain terms of agreements and support sales team in closing deals/sales.
• Gathering market and customer information and communicate accordingly with the sales leader
• Communicate efficiently the special offers/developments /special promotions.
• Overcome challenges with a flexible and positive attitude and driven by getting the customer to buy.
• Maintain accurate and up to date account data and reporting using SalesForce system.
• Co-creation and pro-active participation to hotel’s events, sales blitzes, networking events, fairs, workshops and what else considered as needed in order to increase hotel’s market share for the assigned accounts.

Su di te

• Fluent in English, French and Dutch is a plus
• Minimum 1 or 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Strong proactive selling skills, driven to succeed in difficult market conditions.
• Strong team player, excellent people skills and able to work independently.
• Ability to understand and evaluate market data.
• Hilton Systems knowledge is a plus (SalesForce- Delphi, OnQ etc).
• Understanding of Revenue Management recommendations and commercial strategies.
• Flexible to perform additional tasks as needed.
  • Lingue richieste: Francese e Inglese. Olandese è un plus
