- Ensure that guests receive prompt, friendly, and personalised service throughout the restaurant experience.
- Monitor service standards to maintain consistency and exceed guest expectations.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, resolving them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the menu offerings, including dietary restrictions and special requests.
- Oversee the order-taking process and coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor order tracking systems and ensure efficient communication between staff members and the kitchen team.
- Ensure proper set-up and presentation of restaurant orders, including tableware, condiments, and additional amenities.
- Monitor order accuracy, ensuring all items are delivered as per the guest's request and quality standards are met.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of restaurant supplies, including food, beverages, and amenities.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to replenish stock and manage par levels effectively.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to minimize waste, control costs, and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop menus and introduce new items based on guest preferences and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, organisation, and proper functioning of all equipment and workstations.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and propose solutions for process improvements.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in developing standard operating procedures and implementing best practices.

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a high-volume lifestyle restaurant.
