Our Team:

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Sales Coordinator to join our Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans team.  This role reports to the Director of Sales and Sales Team and will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day activities as it relates to sales efforts.

Your Job:

The Sales Coordinator responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with all office sales efforts, including responding to general inquiries and client requests.
  • Answering all incoming phone calls and pre-qualifying leads in a time-efficient and professional manner.
  • Performing administrative tasks supporting all group sales efforts as assigned by sales leadership including but not limited to: preparing sales kits, documenting prospective accounts, organizing files, preparing contracts, preparation of invoices, purchasing of office supplies and data entry
  • Processing all turnovers, prepare new client files and properly close completed client files.
  • Creating and maintaining computer and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports, and documents.
  • Confirming reservations and upgrades, coordinating the planning of amenity arrangements
  • Assisting in preparation of reports as required by the Director of Marketing and Director of Sales.
  • Updating merge documents – proposals, contracts etc
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and proactive in taking on new tasks
  • Paying strong attention to details with keen sense of follow-up and meeting of deadlines
  • Assisting Sales Team with any additional/special projects


This position is on-site and based in New Orleans, LA.

About You:

  • Degree in Hospitality, Marketing & Communications or relevant field
  • Excellent in the use of Microsoft Office. Excel, Delphi.fdc/Amadeus Sales & Catering, Opera PMS knowledge is considered a plus.
  • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic and positive energy
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
  • Work authorization in the United States
