The Four Seasons Resort and Residences is looking for a talented Truss Restaurant + Bar Executive Chef.

There is a $1500 Signing Bonus! $750 upon hire and $750at your 90 days!

This is a Department Head level position, which is eligible for an annual incentive. This position reports directly to the Director of Food and Beverage and will oversee the main Restaurant Kitchen.

If you are passionate about the restaurant industry have previous Executive Chef experience, then we want to hear from you. The Truss Restaurant + Bar Executive Chef will manage the kitchen, develop menus and create a culinary experience for locals and visitors to remember. The ideal candidate for this position is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about food.

Truss Restaurant + Bar Executive Chef

  • Responsible for all culinary activities for the main restaurant.

  • Support the definition of the hotel’s Food & Beverage concept.

  • Participate in the preparation and implementation of the hotel’s strategic plan.

  • Creativity, sincerity, tenacity and passion are essential to this position.

  • Provide leadership and management for the Restaurant Kitchen Department by establishing plans of character, integrity, and quality which result in the long-range continued growth and profitability.

  • Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers in the Restaurant Kitchen Department through effective management and leadership to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.

  • Effectively plan and develop menus for the hotel considering factors such as product availability, food and service cost, marketing conditions and business volume; assign prices for daily menus that result in net profit; participate in making decisions regarding printing, layout, posting, and distribution of menus while ensuring the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration.

  • Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. Works collaboratively and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

  • Build an open and trustful environment where everyone's opinion is share and value.

  • Communicate clearly and openly the correct information at the right moment.

  • Lead by inspiration by letting my team knows why they do things.



Basic Qualifications

  • Michelin experience as an Executive Chef.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in the kitchen of a luxury hotel and/or fine dining restaurant.

  • Strong communications skills and the ability to build a dynamic culinary team. 

  • Excellent emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.

  • Creates motivating work environment and conducts trainings. Proven ability to direct employees clearly and concisely while positively influencing employee behavior and performance.

  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
