Job Summary:-
To provide support service to the front of house team by managing back of house operations ensuring all areas are prepared for service at all times.

The F&B Steward Supervisor is to assist in providing a professional and personalized service experience and fulfil all guests’ requirements from their arrival to departure. The F&B Steward Supervisor is also responsible for cleanliness of BOH, storage of equipment, procurement delivery and distribution.

General Duties and Responsibilities:-
Oversee stewarding team on shift
Effectively communicate any changes or items to note to the next team and to the F&B management
Ensure the BOH pantry and surrounding areas are always in clean working condition
Diswashing and glass washing machines are cleaned on daily basis
Ensure equipment is well maintained, stored and working/serving condition
Assisting the FOH team members in the set up and pack down of events
Reporting of any maintenance and damages of equipment to F&B Assistant Manager or Supervisor on duty
Ensure that chemicals are stored and utilised correctly
Ensure all products adhere to our Health & Hygiene Standards
Assisting with procurement deliveries and storage of deliveries ensuring stock control is well maintained
Ensuring all storage areas are clean and any items required by the FOH can be easily accessed
Ensure a high standard of kitchen hygiene
Ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures, cleaning schedules and HACCP procedures
Ensure all pantry and service equipment is maintained and kept to an exceptional standard of cleanliness
Ensure all maintenance needs and faults are reported immediately
Liaise with Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in regards to day-to-day training needs of all kitchen stewards
Ensure compliance with all grooming and Workplace Health and Safety standards in accordance with Company guidelines
Ensure goals, objectives and standards are effectively communicated to entire stewarding team
Any other duties deemed relevant that is not outlined in the above

Background, Skills and Abilities:-
• Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field
• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations leadership role
• Passion for leadership and teamwork
• Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence
• Excellent guest service skills
