Our Development team helps our owners in every stage of designing, building, and managing their unique properties. Owners are able to take advantage of our global, innovative expertise to develop one of the leading brands in hospitality.

What will I be doing?

The Development Strategy & Operations team was created in 2020 to craft a Global Development strategy, drive measurement and execution towards Development objectives, optimize Development technology project outcomes, and lead dynamic developer support.

The team works directly with regional senior Development leadership and in collaboration with Analytics, Brands, Owner Experience & Engagement, Finance, Legal, IT, and others to achieve its goals. Reporting to the Manager of Development Strategy & Operations, you will strive to achieve success for the team in each of these areas and with each of these partners.

As the Analyst of Development Strategy & Operations, you will help improve data practices for accurate and efficient business processes and measurement. You will also play an important part in implementing O2NUG - a Salesforce platform for the global development team. This role requires analytical savvy, sophisticated problem-solving abilities, and a drive to make the highest possible impact. You thrive in a fast-paced environment that calls for you to be resourceful and collaborative.

General Responsibilities

  • Complete quantitative and qualitative analysis deliverables at the direction of the Manager/Senior Director.
  • Collaborate with Development teams and partners on future technology modernization projects to drive data efficiencies and replace duplicative work
  • Maintain and promote good relationships with all team members within Analytics, Brands, Owner Experience & Engagement, Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, Feasibility, Communications, and other Hilton departments to streamline the development process
  • Create presentation materials for senior leadership as needed
  • Ad hoc projects at the direction of Manager/Senior Director

Salesforce Specific

  • Drive O2NUG engagement by assuring data quality, participating in user training sessions, and completing general non-technical troubleshooting for users. Liaise with IT and Owner CRM team to achieve these goals.
  • Assist teammates in custom report/dashboard creation.
  • Participate in UAT sessions and collect user feedback on platform features and functionality.
  • Provide general support for Manager and Salesforce Analyst.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • One to two (1-2) years of demonstrated ability with analytics and reporting
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with BI tools (including Tableau, Alteryx, MicroStrategy, Anaplan)
  • Experience in Hospitality Development, Analytics, Strategy, or related fields
