Hilton’s Commercial Services organization is comprised of over 4,000 team members driving our sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hilton’s “commercial engine” and are key to Hilton’s ability to drive profitable growth.

What will I be doing?
As the Director of Global Pricing, you will advance Hilton’s global competitiveness in pricing distribution and strategy. Hilton develops and maintains various rate and offer structures to improve and increase revenue to Hilton’s hotels! To be effective, these structures must be responsive to customer purchasing trends, competitive landscape, and distribution strategy.

You will be leading innovation that supports Hilton’s Global Pricing vision. This will require partnership with technology, external vendors, and commercial teams to take difficult concepts from inception to execution. This includes developing new and improving existing capabilities to action the Revenue Management System (RMS) at scale and enhance its analytics. In this role, you must understand the full customer experience throughout the organization and be adept at working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment to continuously deliver value for Hilton and its hotels and owners.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead, articulate, and implement strategic direction in partnership with Commercial Solutions of new capabilities that align with the Pricing strategy, ensuring coherence and consistency of new features across the technology and capability journey.
  • Develop action plans, including but not limited to systems, reports, processes, and analytical problem solving to address pricing opportunities through new or enhanced RMS capabilities, and coordinate the execution of these action plans across the various pertinent functional areas.
  • Oversee cross-functional work stream efforts in partnership with the Platform Activation and Commercial Solutions teams to deliver the automation, reporting, tools, processes, and analytical consistency that supports automated revenue management and pricing initiatives.
  • Rally multi-functional resources to turn the Pricing vision into a reality through the delivery of complete product solution, including consideration for different global regions (Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa).
  • Contribute to detailed user stories and business requirements to ensure expectations are clear for technical teams solutioning for the user and product needs, and drive alignment with non-technical partners and users.
  • Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate risks, decide on trade-offs, and balance business demands.
  • Partner with Analytics, Data Science, and other Pricing leaders to identify pricing opportunities, define success metrics, assign value, as well as analyze/present on performance of implemented strategies post-launch, and quickly act on trends that arise from those metrics.
  • Collaborate on how to integrate new and existing capabilities into a Centralized User Interface, providing a flawless user flow of actions between systems.
  • Collaborate with Pricing leadership on team culture, organization, planning, recognition, and recruiting.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience
  • Five (5) years of experience in Analytics, Commercial Services, Pricing, Product, or Revenue Management
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
  • High School Diploma/GED

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree
  • Nine (9) years of professional experience
  • Two (2) years of hospitality or similar industry Revenue Management experience
  • Two (2) years of Supervisory experience and Project Management experience
  • Experience in Product Management
  • Tableau Desktop Certified Professional and/or MicroStrategy certifications
