The historic Arizona Biltmore is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our Food and Beverage Team at our 3-meal restaurant, McArthur's

Located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix since 1929, this gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $100 million  renovation . This iconic hotel has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space, and 8 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 pools, 2 bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining).

In this role, you will assist the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing McArthur's managing a team of 50 (including an Assistant Manager and 2 Supervisors). You will assist in other food and beverage departments, as needed. Frank & Albert's, named after the resort's architectural inspirations, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner offering guests the highest quality, locally-sourced ingredients using sustainable farm practices and classic techniques.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic leader who fosters a positive and supportive culture with a keen eye for detail, a passion for delivering unforgettable experiences, and excels in upholding structure and delivering consistency. At least two (2) years of food and beverage leadership experience within upscale restaurants is required. Prior luxury hotel experience is a plus.

What will I be doing?

As a Restaurant Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of McArthur's to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks:

  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
