We are looking a Senior Catering Manager to be part of this exceptional leadership team!

Named Hilton's Luxury Hotel of the Year for 2022, the Forbes 4-Star hotel has brought a new standard of luxury to DC with 360 rooms, 32,000 square feet of banquet space, and 5 food and beverage outlets, including a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby bar, club lounge, and in-room dining.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • The development of market segment(s) including solicitation of new customer relationships, negotiation of business through proposals and contracts to close business.
  • Creative design of menus and events to maximize revenue and event experience. 
  • Maintain existing relationships with corporate and social accounts.
  • Fostering all internal customer relationships to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events. 


The ideal candidate will have:  two (2) years  catering sales experience at manager level, be able to handle high volume and have Social Catering Sales experience. Luxury experience is preferred.

What will I be doing?

As a Senior Catering Manager, you would be responsible for developing market segments and soliciting new customers to purchase food and beverage and utilize event facilities in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships
  • Conduct conferences and external sales presentations to groups and prospective customers to solicit, explain, negotiate and secure group and local catering business
  • Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts
  • Conduct property tours and participate in trade shows, industry and community events to promote facilities and services
  • Negotiate services and prices to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Assist the Director in the management of the department, as needed
