Our Global Communications organization is responsible for protecting and elevating Hilton's reputation, driving brand and consumer communications, inspiring and engaging Team Members, and connecting owners and other partners with Hilton’s purpose and business goals.

What will I be doing?
We work in close partnership with Hilton’s Commercial Services organization – comprising over 4,000 team members across our technology, sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hilton’s “commercial engine” and are key to Hilton’s ability to drive profitable growth.

As the Senior Manager of Technology Communications, you will support internal and external communications on behalf of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). You will be responsible for inspiring and engaging Team Members through storytelling and creative communications, thinking creatively about how to bring the spirit of hospitality to internal activations designed to build team member engagement and the culture of the Technology team!

You will create programs to continuously share Hilton Technology’s vision and accomplishments with our Hotel Team Members, Owners, and other external partners. This role will require a strategic and cohesive communications strategy that inspires Team Members and engages leaders in the most critical aspects of the business. In this role, you will partner closely across the Communications organization and with Hilton Technology Leaders and their teams, Commercial Services, Operations, Corporate, and Human Relations among other partners.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and manage a communications strategy and editorial calendar for Hilton Technology’s communications activities
  • Craft impactful internal communications materials and activations to support the communications strategy, such as programmatic communications, leadership presentations and messaging, and social media content
  • Identify external opportunities to share Hilton’s technology story to include industry/functional events and speaking engagements, recruiting events, and social media
  • Source and integrate information, data, and Team Member stories to craft impactful messaging that aligns with the broader Technology and Hilton enterprise narrative, including collaborating with key partners to identify compelling content and distill headlines across the organization
  • Collaborate with key internal functions on coordinating, writing, and deploying (operational) communications to corporate and hotel Team Members around the world; act as part of relevant project teams
  • Develop relationships with senior leaders from across the Americas Commercial Services team to influence content and messaging
  • Support the CIO with speaking engagements and presentations
  • Closely collaborate with Technology Governance & Program Management in the development of change management plans and communications for launch of major Technology initiatives


What are we looking for?
We are looking for passionate and motivated leaders interested in leading the communications strategy of a world-class Technology team. The following attributes and skills are important components of success:

  • Proven expertise in executive communications and/or internal communications
  • Strong writing and storytelling experience, as well as the ability to translate “tech speak” into easy-to-understand messaging
  • Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal communications skills, including influencing and collaboration
  • A natural curiosity about technology and its application to make people’s lives better
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of enterprise-wide communications planning in a corporate or professional services environment with experience in organizational change and ability to work across multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Organization skills that include superb attention to detail


To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, Teams, etc.)
  • 25% of travel (domestic and international)


It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a similar field
  • Experience working with a large global organization and/or a mid-to-large-size communications agency
  • Experience within the travel, tourism, service industries, and/or technology field
