Hosco Talent Search is recruiting on behalf of a luxury hotel group with a property in Geneva. The hotel is a luxury modern product and has been / is going through important refurbishments. Ift offers some luxury rooms, a couple of restaurants and large functions for groups & events. They are one of the best hotel for luxury travellers when traveling to Geneva. Local guests loves the hotel too and companies organise their events on a regular basis.

Start Date: ASAP

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Sales with oversee the Sales team and the Group and Events team. He will be to develop and secure new business from all markets : the leisure market, mainly but not limited to US, UK France, Russia and Middle East, together with the Corporate and MICE segment.
The Director of Sales will ensure that business is turned over properly and in a timely manner by creating key partnerships and contracts with the best partners.

Some of the tasks might include, but are not limited to:

• To lead the sales team and assure that they achieve weekly / monthly KPI’s of sales meetings and new accounts
• To achieve an annual set Revenue Targets on designed market/segment
• To make sure the hotel is part of the network of the best luxury travel agencies
• To maintain responsibility of selected key accounts, strengthen relationships with key existing account
• To be proactive with locating new business through the appropriate media
• To provide basic selling techniques training and support to the team
• To be able to negotiate effectively in order to achieve an overall high ADR
• Responsible for proactively driving revenue and securing business
• Representation of the hotel on sales meetings, in-house events, exhibitions, conferences Fam trips and networking events on key market
• To maintain an open and frequent communication between other department such as Marketing and F&B
• To optimize room utilization by assessing the demand and supply for accommodation
• To assist in ensuring efficient administration of the department is taking place to support all sales activities
• To provide the best service to customers in order to grow share of the account
• To lead the team by exemple

Su di te

- Experience as a Director of Sales leading large sales team in a corporate / luxury / lifestyle environment
- International experience and exposure
- Experience leading large sales teams (external sales, internal sales and Meetings & events)
- Ability to take ownership and work with different people at all level
- Hands on , natural leader, ambition and motivation
  • Lingue richieste: Inglese e Francese.
