The Opportunity:

As a Store Development intern, you will have the opportunity to lead or assist on projects using a hands-on approach. Throughout your 10-week internship, you will learn from the best by interacting with industry leaders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Sephora’s Store Development department is responsible for selecting sites, designing and building new stores, managing the company’s real estate portfolio, maintaining our stores, managing vendor relationships, and implementing sustainability and risk mitigation initiatives across the company. Our dedication to driving Sephora’s impressive growth across North America and reinforcing our company values is evident in our fearless approach to collaboration and innovation.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assist Store Concepts & Vendor Relations Sr. Project Manager in different aspects of Store Concepts and Vendor Relations program management
  • Collect and organize specific store attributes and assist to develop Store Attribute Database
  • Help to organize fixture prototype reviews in local Bay Area stores
  • Assist in gathering requirements for new Issue Management tool for new store projects
  • Liaise with internal Store Development partners and select vendors/suppliers to organize mid-year business reviews
  • Attend store site visits (if local)

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams – Sephora has a highly collaborative culture, so you are encouraged and expected to work closely with other related teams such as Real Estate, Retail Operations, Workflow, Marketing, and Merchandising

We would love to hear from you if you…

  • Are currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; graduating by Summer 2023 or Summer 2024
  • Have strong analytical, project management, presentation, and communication (written/verbal) skills
  • Are proficient with Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment where your role may adapt to business demands
  • Can manage complex and ambiguous information to effectively solve problems
  • Are eager to learn, grow, and have fun!


The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
