Your role at Sephora:
As a Merchandise Planning Assistant, you will be assisting the Sephora Supply Chain teams (planning, distribution, and distribution centers) in order and RTV tracking. Reporting to the Planning Manager or Sr. Planner, you will communicate with brands to ensure on-time shipping, returns, and receipts and partner to resolve trouble lane issues. In addition, you will: 

  • Maintain purchase order tracking tool and share with cross-functional teams
  • Track all newness inventory inbound to distribution centers and report late orders to the store updates team; partner with internal teams and brands to resolve
  • Maintain RTVs as needed
  • Communicate urgent orders to distribution centers for prioritization
  • Create manual purchase orders as needed
  • Adjust purchase orders as needed and manage short-ship orders
  • Create and manage tester orders for new stores
  • Resolve issues surrounding inbound shipments and vendor errors (overs, shorts, damage)
  • Partner with the DC leadership teams to resolve complications involving the transportation of POs
  • Additional department projects as needed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong team player and willing to be flexible to support the team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often-changing environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
  • BA, BS preferred
