The Loro Piana Receptionist will be the company’s brand ambassador based out of the corporate offices in New York, NY, reporting into HR.  They will have a warm, open and friendly persona as they will be the first point of contact for Loro Piana employees, visitors and potential candidates. They will understand the importance of being extremely organized, detail oriented, ability to communicate clearly and is solution minded. This role will perform all administrative duties including but not limited to: ordering supplies, accepting and signing for in and out bound packages, answering all incoming calls, greeting and assisting with all guest arrivals. In addition, the Receptionist will also support the HR team with some operational functions, such as scheduling interviews, helping to organize office events, any other ad hoc projects that the department may need assistance with. 

Profil

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, applicants, and employees, providing appropriate assistance
  • Answer all incoming calls and transfer to appropriate destinations with prompt professionalism
  • Work with security to pre-announce all guest arrivals based on the request made by asking employees
  • Maintain the reception and kitchen areas to ensure it is always in pristine condition
  • Manage and schedule common areas/conference rooms and flow of events
  • Distribute packages delivered and received to the reception area
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • Manage Building Maintenance Requests
  • Oversee the in and out bound of shipments and deliver/distribute to appropriate parties
  • Maintain office safety procedures
  • Assist HR team in scheduling appointments/interviews
  • Assist in ad hoc projects as needed


Information additionnelle

Skills and abilities required:

  • Experience in Retail or Reception Preferred
  • Strong proficiency in MSExcel required - or Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Organization and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks
  • Customer Service focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented or Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
