Job Description

  • Build the PR Plan for Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas & Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles and ensure a full compliance on what is approved to drive with focus and update Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing and General Managers regularly on the progress;
  • Manage, develop and implement a marketing communication strategy for Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas & Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles;
  • To manage all brand, advertising and marketing, creative and media buying related aspects as per the direction of the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing;
  • Maintain and direct all third party related agencies as per the requirements of Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas & Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles;
  • Manage an effective e-Communications strategy with the client base to support the overall business objectives;


  • Social Media:
  • Develop and communicate comprehensive social media strategies that align with our brand's objectives and target audience.
  • Collaborate closely with the external agency or work independently to ensure seamless execution of social media campaigns, content creation, and community engagement.
  • Provide clear direction, guidelines, and feedback to the agency to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms.
  • Monitor social media trends, industry developments, and emerging platforms to keep our brand's presence innovative and effective.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions independently or in collaboration with the agency.
  • Analyse and report on key social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth.
    • Stay informed about changes in social media algorithms and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Identify potential sponsorship and promotional opportunities for each resort and manage the strategic business alliance and relationships;
  • Support and manage when required attendance at key exhibitions and conferences that may involve Key Stakeholders and Owners;
  • Monitor industry trends and keep senior managers appraised of brand perceptions and any potential issues that would have a negative impact on our business;
  • Liaise and meet regularly with individual property General Managers and Department Heads to ensure that all specific requirements for PR & Marketing Communications related works are managed;

    • Provides support on a daily basis to the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing.
    • Develop in-house and external promotional materials.
    • Supports the coordination of photography and videography for advertising, collateral and public relations purpose between the hotel, advertising agency and suppliers.
    • Oversees and coordinates hotel photography and videography when required, including support of other hotel departments for their respective sales strategies.
    • Conducts in the coordination and execution of all printed materials and digital copy.
    • Works with the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing to ensure maximum exposure is obtained for all hotel activities functions, promotions programs etc.
    • Media planning for F&B and Spa activities under the supervision of Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing.
    • Weekly on property content generation.
    • Prepare and run advertising campaigns.
    • Liaise with external PR or creative agencies as requested.
    • Monitoring of brand website and competitor set websites.
    • Assist to update brand website content as and when required.
    • Ensuring product knowledge is up-to-date on the brand website.
    • Managing online presence or online image of the brands


  • Administration
    • Assist with the planning and coordination of the monthly and annual reports for both Owning Company and Head Office.
    • To maintain and control all below the line operational material.
    • To manage and implement the budget and report monthly on all online and print media campaigns.
    • Update and maintain the resorts image library.
    • Assist operational departments in the production of any marketing material, including copywriting, content creation etc in line with the respective departments’ sales strategy.
    • Ensure all insertion orders and agency related invoices are prepared in line with policy.
  • General
    • Maintain work flow within the department.
    • Work as required in line with hotel activities.
    • Understand each resort’s marketing programmes.

  • Proven background in public relations and communication in a 5 stars hotel with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Ability to manage the relationship with team members, owners, key corporate and leisure accounts.
  • Ability to manage multiple hotels and resorts branding and PR/Marketing Communications related requirements.
  • A practical understanding of digital marketing and social media management.
  • English speaking, understand the local market behaviour.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong computer related skills.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or an approved marketing/communications certificate from a hospitality school.
