We are currently seeking experienced and collaborative Chef de Partie with artistic tendencies and a true respect for natures finest ingredients to join our pre opening team for Dovetale @ 1 Hotel, Mayfair.
The ground-floor restaurant is a new chapter for NOMA- and Per Se-trained Chef Tom Sellers. Sellers opened Restaurant Story in SE1 a decade ago. Here, at the 1 Hotel Mayfair, provenance will be what dominates the sustainability narrative of the refined British cuisine. Having travelled the world since this enduring classic, Sellers never compromises on the integrity of his cooking or the quality of ingredients. Complementing 1 Hotels aesthetic and vision, it's intended as an open book, a platform for conversation, with many tales to tell about seasonal, organic ingredients.
In this role, you’ll oversee an assigned section of the kitchen, cooking and preparing each dish to perfection, and partnering with our talented chefs to make memorable dishes for our guests to remember. You’ll also learn from some of the most imaginative food people in the industry. Most important, you’ll be responsible for setting standards: absolutely flawless experiences for both guests and staff, and an inspired, motivated and happy team. Our Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about food and a minimum of 3 years of similar work experience.
- Advanced knowledgeable of culinary operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
- Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
- Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
