Culinary Pastry Trainee
A Culinary Pastry Trainee at The Club at Admirals Cove is responsible for ensuring member satisfaction in all food operations throughout The Club. They will be able to learn about all the Food & Beverage Operations across The Club.
The Club at Admirals Cove has several dining outlets, each with a different style. As an Admirals Cove Culinary Trainee students will be able to work in a diverse country club in Florida with the most lavish amenities and the most gifted Chefs from across the globe. Throughout the different phases of their training plan they will be able to establish return-worthy experiences while managing member satisfaction and simultaneously delivering incredible personalized experiences.
J1 TRAINEE:
You must be between age 20 and 35 and currently holding a degree from a post-secondary institution outside of the U.S. and have at least one year of employment in your occupational field outside of the U.S. Or, you have more than five years of work experience in your occupational field outside the U.S.

Program Details:
• Position: Culinary Pastry Trainee
• Length of Internship: One (1) year
• Compensation: $11.00 per hour
• Housing: $275.00 bi-weekly
• Visa Sponsor Fees: $2,855.00
• Flight Fees: Responsibility of Trainee
• Visa Appointment Fees: Responsibility of Trainee
• SEVIS Fees: Responsibility of Trainee

Job Description :
• Follows baking and pastry methodologies and SOP’s as directed for all food items.
• Demonstrating skill in baking pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies.
• Creating enticing confectionery decorations and delicious pastry fillings, as well as keeping abreast of new pastry baking techniques.
• Applying classic pastry baking techniques when preparing traditional pastries.
• Adding novel, creative, and delicious pastry items to the existing selection.
• Prepares food as per standards with a sense of urgency while focusing of quality.
• Sets up work station to ensure freshness and quality and has line ready for the chef to taste and check for quality standards.
• During service maintains good sanitation habits while cooking. Listens and coordinates with the lead cook or chef to get food out as needed while maintaining the quality standards.
• Assists in other kitchen duties as necessary for success of the operation.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Chefs
