The Strategy & Transformation team is focused on developing and executing Tripadvisor’s key strategic priorities and partnering with leaders across the business to increase alignment, speed, and effectiveness of execution.

Your remit is to identify and lead a portfolio of projects across the business to realize Tripadvisor’s full strategic and financial potential. This is a hybrid role with the expectation that the individual will spend some time in our Needham, MA office when necessary.
You will have an opportunity to engage and learn across multiple lines of business and actively work alongside relevant stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Analytics, and Corporate Development.
You will report into the VP, Strategy & Transformation and have significant exposure to Tripadvisor’s executive leadership team.
The role includes:
Leading robust strategy efforts for key areas of the business to determine traveler/partner/market needs, understand competitive positioning, identify potential paths forward, and set the right strategy for Tripadvisor
Developing detailed execution plans in partnership with these key business leaders
Mobilizing teams to execute by ensuring necessary resourcing and a clear understanding of roles, metrics, milestones, and activities
Running the performance management cadence to ensure progress across all metrics and milestones and create transparency into status, barriers, etc.
Supporting key business leaders as they execute the plan for each initiative to overcome barriers, solve problems, re-allocate resources, and adjust as needed based on internal and external factors
What we’re looking for:
3-5+ years experience in Corporate Strategy roles operating within a company or a top-tier consulting firm, with a proven track record of solving problems and driving change
Ability to lead cross-functional teams with excellent stakeholder management
An organized, proactive self-starter; able to identify what needs to get done, then willing and able to make it happen
Ability to embrace change and balance multiple priorities - with strong instincts for and ability to focus on what matters most
Distinctive written and verbal communication skills - able to synthesize complex topics into clear statements and plans

The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $235,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee's pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
