**The internship is aimed at enrolled students. It’s fixed term for 4-6 months, starting as soon as possible (ideally mid February 2022). Location is Hanover, Germany.**

As an intern in Group Corporate Finance and Group Controlling you will be at the heart of key HQ Finance functions within TUI Group with direct exposure to senior finance directors and TUI management. Being part of two teams, you will be contributing both to day-to-day controlling & corporate finance tasks, and working on finance projects. 

ABOUT THE JOB
  • Management Information & KPIs – Structure, analyze and present trading information / insights. Take part in a KPI automation project, structuring data and developing a standard executive dashboard
  • Business Performance Management – Provide support in analyzing month-end, quarter-end and forecast activities for TUI Group’s segments and translate results & insights into (Board-level / Investor Relations) presentations. Participate in TUI’s Budget cycle, analyzing and presenting the 3-year plan financials of the Group and its segments.
  • Liquidity & Financial Profile – Assist in analyzing and monitoring liquidity and cash flow. Understand the financial profile and support the team in financial modelling, analyses and presentation thereof.
  • Scenario & Project work – Undertake scenario & project-based analyses across the Group. Complete ad-hoc tasks for multiple stakeholders (incl. Senior Management). Assist in Group financing projects.
  • Process improvements – Assist in improving existing processes and increasing financial transparency.


ABOUT YOU
  • Student of a commercial subject, preferably with a focus on finance 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to get into the details, while also understanding the big picture
  • Good presentation skills in translating results into professional presentations
  • Advanced English oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of German would be a plus.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PPT 
  • Strong ownership for deliverables with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • High motivation to work in an international finance team in a fast-paced environment 
  • Open-minded and proactive personality who wants to learn and make change happen
