Senior Developer AWS

Wyndham Hotel Group, LLC is now seeking a Senior Developer AWS to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Job Summary

Job duties include the following: Applying expertise in building reliable, scalable, data driven distributed applications; Delivering applications through the full life cycle from concept to completion including responsibilities for architecting and developing scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services, Informatica, SQL, Linux; Working collaboratively with other teams within IT and across the business teams, vendors and strategic partners to achieve project and solution; Performing development efforts across multiple systems to achieve the project goal for a particular project; Communicating designs and technical requirements with technical team and implementation of the overall systems; Developing system and detailed technical designs; Assuring use of best practices in design and implementation of efficient, highly performant and secure project initiatives; Investigating new technologies for implementation into advanced system solutions; Analyzing and providing insight into complexity of business requirements, user interface design and create solutions working with development team to reduce technical complexity while maximizing business and user benefits.

Required Education & Experience

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus five (5) years of relevant experience in the job offered or in an occupation which includes required experience/skills. Experience must include five (5) years of experience with AWS; five (5) years of experience with Informatica; five (5) years of experience with SQL; five (5) years of experience with Python & Spark; four (4) years of experience with Unix and Linux.
